It’s been an emotional day.
We received word this morning that a dear friend went to be with the Lord.
While I was still grieving over that news, I got the news that another good friend was expected her first baby.
Birth and death.
The circle of life.
One life had been lived and was over here on earth, another just barely beginning.
Grief and joy.
Heartache and happiness.
One soul rejoicing in heaven – meeting her Savior, reuniting with her husband, son, and parents. Finally whole and well after battling Alzheimer’s for years, yet leaving behind an empty spot in the family that loved her dearly.
The other soul – a new creation designed by God. Fresh. New. An answered prayer. A bundle of joy that will fill a mommy’s empty arms and heal a broken heart.
Life and death.
An ending and a beginning.
The circle of life.
Psalms 139: 13-14, 16 “For You created me together in my mother’s womb. I praise You for I am fearfully and wonderfully made…all the days ordained for me were written in Your book before one of them came to be…”
