Chocolate Chip Crumb Cake

Chocolate Chip Crumb CakeI love history, especially family history.  I also love old cook books and discovering old recipes. I especially love discovering recipes that my grandma’s made, or better yet, their mom’s!

This is one of those recipes. It came to me from my mom, who learned it from her mom, who also learned it from her mom.  That’s my great- grandma! Four generations of family have made this cake!

And now that my own children are learning the recipe, we can call it a 5 generation recipe!

It is a delicious coffee cake and mixes up very quickly.
